October 6, 2025

October 6, 2025 – Filming is currently underway on Let Love In, the new film by Academy Award®–nominated director Felix van Groeningen, written by Felix van Groeningen, Charlotte Vandermeersch, and Anne Paulicevich. Production is taking place in Belgium.

The film stars Charlotte Vandermeersch (co-director and co-writer of The Eight Mountains) and Luca Marinelli (The Eight Mountains, M – The Son of the Century).

Let Love In tells the story of a couple who, following the confession of a long-running secret relationship, are forced to question everything they once took for granted. What initially appears to be a profound crisis becomes an opportunity for healing and reconciliation: a journey in search of honesty and true connection, and a deeper understanding capable of redefining the very meaning of love.

Presented by MUBI, The Match Factory, OUR Films (a Mediawan company), Menuetto, and Rufus, the film is a production of OUR Films, Menuetto, and Rufus, in collaboration with Circle One. It is produced by Hans Everaert, Felix van Groeningen, Charlotte Vandermeersch, Mario Gianani, Lorenzo Mieli, and Lorenzo Gangarossa.

The film is financed by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF), Kinepolis Film Distribution (KFD), Proximus, VRT, and the Belgian Tax Shelter, in collaboration with BNP Paribas Fortis Film Finance and Casa Kafka Pictures.

Felix van Groeningen previously directed The Broken Circle Breakdown, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, and Beautiful Boy, starring Timothée Chalamet and Steve Carell. He also won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for The Eight Mountains.
